Description for Plymouth Road Runner 1970

You are buying a 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner 383 4 Speed with Factory A/C.Steve's Musclecars & Parts, INC479-430-4886This is a VERY HIGH QUALITY Professional Restoration on a NEVER RUSTED, NEVER WRECKED, Original Sheetmetal Completely NUMBERS MATCHING Car (engine, transmission, radiator and all smaller parts are the originals to this car). All the original sheetmetal was retained with the exception the lower passenger side quarter panel trunk extension. The quarters (original with NO PATCH PANELS), fenders, doors, hood and trunk lid as well as trunk floor, floor pans, firewall, inner fenders, frame rails, etc., are ALL ORIGINAL TO THIS CAR and were is SUPER NICE CONDITION requiring only minor body work to prep for paint. This has always been a southern car never driven in the road salt and the underbody and all suspension components are SUPER CLEAN with absolutely no pitting. The car was restored 100% as per the fender tag with no options added or removed. The tag on the car is a replacement but I have the perfect original (I did not want the original on the car for fear of theft). There was no build sheet as is common for these LA build cars. The car was taken to bare steel and then repainted in the correct FF4 Lime Green Poly, base coat, clear coat. The paint looks great but is more of a very high end driver - local showcar type paint and is perfect for anything short of a nationally points judged showcar. The car was also COMPLETELY MECHANICALLY RESTORED (unlike most so called "restored" cars). The numbers matching engine was professionally rebuilt and only needed to be bored .010. The cam is a stock replacement and the engine runs and idles PERFECTLY. The correct original HP exhaust manifolds are perfect and have the heat stove intact. The ORIGINAL RADIATOR was recored and the car runs perfectly cool. The ORIGINAL 3 SPEED WIPER MOTOR was professionally restored, replated and works perfectly. The power steering box was rebuilt by Steer and Gear and the pump original pump was refurbished as well. The NUMBERS MATCHING 4 speed transmission was professionally rebuilt and shifts like new. The correct shifter base and rods are new from Brewers Performance and the original to the car pistol grip handle was show rechromed with all new grips and upper lens installed. The clutch, pressure plate, flywheel and all assorted parts are BRAND NEW. The bellhousing is the correct 513 unit and has the right lower cover. A complete correct new exhaust system was installed and the car sounds PERFECT and CORRECT when running. The original rallye gauge cluster (with Tic-Toc-Tach) was sent to Instrument Specialties in Virginia and completely rebuilt including the gauge faces. All the gauges work perfectly (including the clock). The original AM radio was sent to Wards Classic Radio Service and was rebuilt and works like new.The seat covers, door panels, headliner are all new from Legendary and fit and look great. The dash pad is perfect with no cracks or damage. The seat belts are are new reproductions and look great. All the chrome on the car was show triple plated (including the door vent frames, door handles, and most other small parts). The original front and rear bumpers were super straight, were professionally show triple plated and look stunning. The original trim was all professionally restored and looks great. The windshield and gasket are new but all the rest of the glass is the CORRECT DATE CODED GLASS TO THIS CAR in very nice condition. The door glass window guides, rollers and all assorted hardware was replaced and they roll up and down perfectly. The ORIGINAL TO THE CAR grille and headlight bezels were professionally restored and look perfect. All tail lights, side markers, reverse lights, turn signals look great and work perfectly. The steering column was completely rebuilt and has the ORIGINAL TURN SIGNAL SWITCH (not the junk Chinese reproduction). The A/C - Heater box was professionally refurbished and the original heater core was restored by Glen - Ray Radiator. The A/C system was completly rebuilt, converted to 134A and blows ICE COLD. The correct 1970 ONLY Ranco heater control valve is NOS and the heater works perfectly. The lines were rebuilt and the ONLY thing not correct is the discharge line. The original was damaged and I could not find a replacement so I had one built. This is not correct in appearance but functions fine. The suspension, brakes (correct 11" HD 4 wheel drum brakes), steering linkage were all rebuilt with top quality parts. All brake and fuel lines as well as the gas tank are new.The ORIGINAL JACK and all components are in the trunk. The car has the correct 14" rallye wheels with new whitewall radial tires. The original 3.23 rear end was cleaned and serviced and the original leaf springs were professionally rebuilt. This car only has a couple miles on the restoration and looks like a new car. It drives perfectly and everything works. This is a no surprise car and would be perfect for your summer cruises and taking to shows with the family as the A/C blows cold. There is a CLEAR TITLE IN MY NAME and all registrations and tags are current.A 500.00 paypal deposit is required at the time of purchase and the balance due within 7 days but the car can sit here for a short time until transport can be arranged.
