Description for Plymouth Barracuda 1970
A private collector of classic muscle cars is now offering for sale to the discriminating taste of other collectors and MOPAR fans this 1970 Plymouth AAR Cuda’. It is powered by the 340CID/290HP "Six-Packed" motor twisting its smooth shifting 3 speed automatic transmission rotating the 3. 23:1 rear end. This is an outstanding example of a true factory built race car and fewer and fewer of these fine collector cars still remain. This one is in remarkable "off-frame" recondition and the painted undercarriage reflects the quality and care put into the project. You would be hard pressed to find an AAR in such condition especially for the price. As is evident in the photographs this car sits in a climate controlled environment and "no tire-kickers" have ever been allowed to crease the seats. With exception of keeping the seals wet. tires round and oil circulated. it seldom sees road duty. Only buffing towels. sunshine and stares of admiration ever touch this classic MOPAR. While many would hope to have pedigree documents this comes only with its look and performance. Papers would have this car priced far higher than its “Buy It Now” of $60K. Don’t pass up a great car looking for a good one. Buy this one and enjoy years of happy motoring and tons of envy from friends and family. Prospective buyers are welcome to email me with questions. Initial contact via email only but follow up phone conversations will be welcomed. Please. serious inquires only. Inspections prior to purchase consideration are available by appointment ONLY. No financing is offered nor will trades be considered. This car will be listed on Ebay ONLY once. Owner reserve right to end listing early without notice. Note: The term “Plum Crazy Purple” was a color used for the Dodge Challenger T/A. The color of "In-Violet" (FC5) is used to denote the color of the 1970 AAR Cuda' in the color shade. The strobe stripes were stencil applied in white thus reverting to the traditional and original black would be simple.
