Description for Plymouth Road Runner 1970

Greetings all !
Up for auction/sale is my 1970 Superbird. I've owned this car just under 2 years. As I am approaching retirement age, and currently have 5 different ground-up restorations in progress, with some nearing completio, I would like to concentrate on finishing them. The best thing about this Bird is the super straight rust-free body considering the age of this car. You will note that in the photos, as well as all of the spot welds still present on lower quarters, etc. Refinished in its original "limelight" color, the paint and body work is excellent with only a few minor flaws. The "boar grain" vinyl top is also excellent. You also note that it is in Galen Govier's registry which you can see evidence in the photos as well as complete decoding of the cars fender tag, etc. I have spent much of the time that I've owned it, cleaning up and restoring all of the normal "old car" situations. I will list most of them here:
1. Complete external resealing of the engine gaskets, as well as, media blasting/restoring all of the external parts, brackets, etc. with correct colors and finishes. New timing chain, new water pump, new fan clutch, new Mopar performance distributor, ignition, new engine wiring harness, starter relay, starter, battery cables. Also all the expansion/freeze plugs in the block and the heads have been replaced. The original radiator has been re-cored using the original upper and lower tanks. The fuel system is completely restored with a new tank, all new fuel lines, fuel pump. You'll note the addition of a 6 barrel set up which works flawlessly.
2.The exhaust system is completely new from the restored correct exhaust manifolds on back with an "accurate exhaust products" kit including correct hangers and hemi mufflers. It is a non chrome tip system as I believe it was a California delivered car originally. Sounds great.
3. The brake system is completely restored from the brake pedal on down. New power brake booster, new master cylinder, brake lines, etc. The original "Wide Mouth" front disc brake calipers were disassembled, blasted and resealed. All the proper attaching hard wear replaced/ restored.
4. The interior of the car still retains front and rear seats that have been recovered in original style at sometime before I got the car, they show some wear but still show well. The carpet has been replaced. The headliner, front and rear side panels are still original and in excellent condition. The dash shell has been removed, disassembled, blasted, completely restored. The gage cluster has been restored perfectly as you can see in the pictures. Along with new dash harness, ignition switch A new updated am/fm radio is present also.Everything works perfectly. In order to remove the dash assembly the old windshield was taken out and replaced with a date coded new unit.
5. The heater box assembly and control head have also been restored to new condition. i.e. a complete disassembly and cleaning blasting all internal parts. New foam, new seals, new heater core, new control cables, restored control head. Works perfectly.
6. The front end suspension and steering linkage has complete been restored and replaced including steering box, pitman arm, idler arm, tie rod ends, adjusting sleeves, control arm bushings, ball joints with complete front end alignment. All detailed correctly. New tires all around.Car drives wonderfully.
7. The under carriage itself is clean and coated nicely in a thin semi-gloss black finish. No heavy undercoating anywhere.
8. In regards to the engine, it is a 1970 HP 440 but not original to the car, nor is the 727 transmission, but both appear to be rebuilt as they works flawlessly.
I'd like to sell the car but it is not a distress sale. I have a reasonable price on it based on recent sales, and the quality of this car and the quality of the work done to it. Obviously I'm not interested in any trades. I would be happy to answer serious questions from qualified buyers. Inspections are certainly welcome and encouraged, thanks for viewing my auction.
