Description for Plymouth Satellite 1969
Up for sale today is my 1969 Plymouth Satellite. I have ended up with too many projects and need to let some go. It is a factory V8 / AC car, and originally had a 318 and a 904 tranny.Motor and trans have since been replaced with a built 360ci and a 727 with a shift kit. The engine is built with edelbrock aluminum heads, aluminum pistons, and a Lunati cam, motor was built a couple years ago but has less than 200 miles on it. Trans was also rebuilt at the same time as the motor with a shift kit and a B&M shifter. Ignition was upgraded to an MSD and it has a Holley street avenger carburetor.
The color was originally green, but was painted Vitamin C orange a couple years ago by a shop in Miami, they did a great job with the color change and you cannot tell it was once green. The black stripe on the hood was experimental rubber peel away paint that can be easily removed. Most of the trim pieces were never re-installed after paint, but they are there and included. The paint shop did lose the hood latch, so it is currently held down with a ratchet strap. It will need the vinyl roof cover, both the hood latch and roof vinyl cover can be found on ebay cheap.Car was stored indoors until about 6 months ago when we got rid of our warehouse.. another reason I have to start getting rid of cars.. lol
Interior is in so-so shape, and in need of a good cleaning, front seat needs recovering, and it does not have a headliner installed. There are a couple blisters in the paint I have tried to include pictures of.
If you have any questions, would like more pictures, or to make an offer, please contact me and I will try to respond promptly.
