Description for Plymouth Other 1970

If you want a slick 'Cuda, now is probably the time to buy. They continue to accelerate in value, and true big block cars like this spectacular 440 Six-Pack '70 are very rarely found under six figures. With a classic high-performance look, gorgeous Tor-Red paint, a 4-speed, and sparkling performance from a stout big block, this is one muscle car that truly delivers on the promises made by its awesome good looks. There's a good argument to... be made that this is the best-looking pony car ever made. Even if you're a GM guy or a Mustang fan, you have to admit that after standing back and watching Ford and Chevy figure out the formula, the Chrysler engineers got it exactly right when the brought out the revised E-bodies. I, for one, am a huge fan of the 'Cuda cars because of their superior handling and friendly road manners, and the look is unmistakable from a distance. The bodywork is done to a very high standard with that Tor-Red paint showing very little wear, accentuated nicely by the black 440 hockey-stripe on the rear flanks. Being an original 440 six-pack car, this 'Cuda was born with a Shaker hood as well, which is one of the coolest features to ever come out of the muscle-car era. Chrome bumpers fore and aft give it a purposeful, bright look, and between the rocker guards, the hood scoop, and fog lamps under the front bumper, it's an imposing sight, I don't care what you're driving. From any angle, this ultra-clean 'Cuda looks fast just sitting still. The black interior is another place where taking their time scored the Mopar guys serious advantages. The high-back buckets are beautiful to look at and every bit as comfortable, and the cool pistol-grip shifter remains a highly desirable option. The gauges offer bright, crisp markings and look fantastic in their individual round pods, and the big OEM woodgrained wheel is a nice find, too. The original AM radio is still in the dash, and believe it or not, it still works. The seats, carpets, door panels, and dash pad have all been replaced or restored in the not-too-distant past and remain in very good condition thanks to careful ownership over the past few years. Finding a crack-free dash is quite an accomplishment all by itself, and the woodgrain applique in the dash bezel ads a touch of sophistication to the entire cabin. Out back, the trunk is correctly outfitted with a reproduction mat plus a vintage space-saver tire and jack assembly. Raise the hood and you'll come face to face with a signature Mopar powerplant combo of the era - an expansive 440 cubic inch V8 topped with a coveted 6-pack -made up of three 2-barrel carbs to feed the big block all it can handle. It sits underneath that awesome Shaker air cleaner and inside a show-stopper of an engine bay with its orange-painted block and valve covers, surrounded by fresh hoses, finished inner fenders and firewall and neatly routed wiring. The configuration is all in correct form, the engine fires up quickly with 390 horses on tap, ready to collect some pink slips and provide a very appealing lope - not so drastic as to wreak havoc with available vacuum, but just right to send a great sounding note out the factory-style dual exhaust. Managing all that big block power is an A833 4-speed manual transmission that shifts quick and spins a Dana 60 posi rear end full of 3.54 gears. This outstanding 'Cuda cruises on a correct set of 15" stock Rallye wheels outfitted with period-correct F60-15 Firestone Wide oval white-letter tires.. You chances to own one of these are getting smaller by the day and it would be a mistake to overlook this stunning 440 Six-Pack car, especially a 4-speed with great colors like this. The fact that's it's under six figures alone means that it won't last long. Call today!
