Description for Plymouth Other 1972
Having a real-deal 1972 Plymouth 'Cuda is already part of the muscle car dream. But then to have it upgraded with a big 440 V8 and all the right go-fast goodies makes this speedy red Mopar a true force to be reckoned with.Keen eyes will instantly pick up on this one being a little different. A bold red 'Cuda is always going to stand out everywhere you park it, but this one will get recognized even in the ficklest Mopar crowds. That's because the front grille and rear panel that turn back the clock to 1970. It's about giving this one a proper big block attitude that wasn't available in '72. In fact, anywhere they added details, it has always been to a vintage standard. For example, the hockey stick stripe with 440 callout is a Mopar legend, and it coordinates nicely with the taut black vinyl roof. Dual hood scoops (with more 440 callouts), wide exhaust tips, and proper mag-style Mopar Road Wheels complete an aggressive and era-correct package.
Open the door, and it's everything you want to see. After all, it's nice when the accents of the exterior are also a preview of the interior. The high-backed bucket seats, door panels, dash, and headliner all feel nice, fresh, and have a terrific dark quality. You get cool classic Mopar elements like the three-spoke sports steering wheel, and there's the form-fitting center console with proper Slap Stick shifter. There are even provisions for more classic elements, like the Rallye gauge package and AM radio.
The fender and callouts did not disguise what lies beneath in this 'Cuda. Power comes from a 440 cubic-inch V8. You may already know these engines were not available from the factory in '72, but this car was just too good not to get a big block. And you can tell they took their time to make it look like this monster motor has been here since day one. While they were upgrading the engine, it also received performance goodies like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Torker 440 intake, and headers. So now you can just imagine how well this one barks at other cars from its dual exhaust. It even has nice supporting components, like an aluminum radiator, Taylor plug wires, and a new master cylinder. Delivery of all this power is quite good thanks to the A727 Torqueflite three-speed automatic transmission that's connected to the versatile 3.23 rear end. Control is well in hand with power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, and wide BF Goodrich T/As.
This real-deal 'Cuda already has rarity, and now it has been upgraded to the features of muscle Mopar royalty. That makes for a terrific package you need to get your hands on right now. Call today!!!
