Description for Plymouth Other 1956

1956 Plymouth Sport Suburban Wagon. This is a one-of-a-kind rat rod, the ultimate surf/cruising wagon. There's only a handful left and this is guaranteed to be the most unique one in existence. I've owned this vehicle for the past 7 years and have made some great memories. Only selling to make room for new projects.
It has a 2nd-generation Camaro front subframe with disc brakes, power steering, and power brakes. The engine is a 5.3 LS1 engine that is converted to a carburetor with a Demon 725cc carb, electric choke, and vacuum secondaries. The engine also has a voodoo cam with a very nice sounding and streetable lope. The transmission is a built bulletproof 700R4 with a mild shift kit.
The rear end is a narrowed Ford 8.8 with disc brakes and a 3.73 gear ratio, with Moser axles. A dual master cylinder has been installed with all new brake lines and a Wildwood prop valve. All wiring throughout the car is also brand new and modernized. The wheels are Fuel Mavericks 22x12 rear with 335/25 tires and the fronts are 18x9 with 255/40 tires. The frame and floor pans are rust-free - the floor pans have been replaced from front to back. The only rust on the car is on the outer body itself, in true rat-rod fashion. The rest of the car is fully modernized and restored mechanically and aesthetically.
The interior is black faux ostrich skin, leather, and denim. The dashboard has been updated with Autometer Phantom II gauges and Lokar shifter. The car has a 2200-watt sound system with Kenwood 996 head unit, 2 Alpine f65 amps, Alpine 6.5 Type R component speakers and 2 10" Type R subs. Brand new wiring throughout, with all new lights, brake lights, turn signals, spot lights, etc. Everything works down to the windshield wipers! The chrome trim is in great shape for it's age. No AC or heat, though there's plenty of room under the dash for an aftermarket unit if the new owner chooses to install one.
The car runs amazing and I drive it confidently everywhere. If you want a true one-of-a-kind, this would be it. Multiple trophy winner at our local car shows, and turns heads and starts conversation everywhere it goes. Clear transferrable registration in my name for the new owner (NY doesn't issue titles on vehicles this old, just need the transferrable registration to register it under your name). Any questions, feel free to contact me. Asking $24,500 negotiable.
As with any used car, sold as-is with no warranty expressed or implied. Please ask any questions before bidding. $500 non refundable deposit due within 24 hours of auction end, and balance due within 7 days. Vehicle will be released for pickup after payment received in full. Shipping is buyers responsibility but I will help load the vehicle for transport. Any questions, feel free to contact me!
