Description for Plymouth Road Runner 1972

Numbers matching true Roadrunner 340 painted in Limelight green. Only 1,839 made! Bought from a Mecum auction this summer, and I later bought a 71 Dodge Demon 340, so I'm selling the Roadrunner. Check the video for walkaround. Clean title in hand ready to assign to new owner.

Walkaround video
9/71 block casting, has forged steel crank (later '72s are cast), 727 torqueflite 3-speed auto trans, 8.75 rear axle (489 carrier), open diff, I think 2.73 gears. Power steering, manual drum brakes. Edelbrock intake and AVS2 carburetor. Electronic ignition.

Came from the Mecum auction with all new interior, Lime Light paint is new (original color was Petty Blue), 15" period Magnum 500 wheels (some chrome has pitting) with redline tires. Front floor pan, trunk floor, and some quarters were replaced in the restoration. Engine, transmission, fender tag, radiator support are numbers matching.

Since receiving the car, fixed/replaced/added:
Wiring cleanup (partial ammeter delete)
Voice of Roadrunner horn
Starter motor
Wiper transmission arm fixes, including cam, boot, blades etc.

Correct coolant hose clamps

Battery strap
Body bumper kit
Antenna cable
Radio knobs
Defrost cable
Passenger vent cable
Front speaker
Defrost vent tube
Instrument cluster lights, heater control and radio lights
Passenger sun visor arm fix (added correct tips)
Lap seat belts
Dome light lens and door switch work
License plate light & bracket
Fuel sending unit & ground strap
Might have missed a few other improvements

What it needs:
Has '71 grille, however the '72 mesh and grille mounting brackets are there behind '72 grille. Headlight bezels are available reproduction, so with the center section the grille would be correct for '72.
Charcoal system was deleted. Driver mirror is remote but the control wasn't mounted on the interior.
Missing some splash guards, body plugs, could use a carb tune. Exhaust tips look like the machine gun tips but are painted to look that way.
Great looking driver car that runs and drives smooth.
