1979 Plymouth Duster. Has newly built 360. . 40 over. 10. 25 to 1 forge pistons(pump gas). . 557 solid lift cam ( included also is a hyd . 510 lift w/lifters and springs). aluminum rockers. fully balanced. Air Gap intake. Holley 750 DBL pump. electric pump/regulator. the famous "J" heads 2. 02/1. 60 valves slightly ported. MSD Street Fire. Chrysler distributor w/quick advance springs. Has the 904 tranny with full manual reverse valve body factory shifter with console but have Hurst Quarter stick also will be included. ( included also is a stock 904 in case buyer would want to change to std pattern) has 2500 stall and has the deep alum pan. 8 3/4 rear end with 3. 23 posi. With this set up in a 69 cuda and had the smaller cam. smaller carb and less compression it ran 12. 60's so this should run a few tenths quicker ( we had 4. 10's in the cuda for a short time and it ran 12. 30's). Has a digital tach with shift light. mechanical gauges (water temp/oil pressure/volts). Has power steering and manual brakes. The car sounds great and drives good. To keep the price down. no mufflers or radio on the car since there are so many different types and likes thought would let buyer install to personalize. There are some tears in carpet but can easily be covered with floor mats if don't want to change right away. The previous owner was changing the red interior over to black and that needs to be completed but a black dash is included( see pics). The car was white at one time and for some reason the under side of the hood was not painted red and is still white. The paint is ok but there are some faded spots. There are some surface rust in 3 spots (see pics). The floorboards/trunk and frame are great. I bought w/o motor and tranny and was fixing it to cruise and race in street class. Plans have changed and decided to get a race only car and run in super pro class. This car is too nice to strip out and cut up so just putting this out in case someone wants a great street/strip car.
