1971 Plymouth Road Runner Roadrunner Project - Original 383 Auto A/C AZ CarCar is in overall good shape for its age. I believe it has been an Arizona car all of its life with very little rust. Was originally green. with a black interior and roof stripes. Fender tag is missing. and since it is a Los Angeles build car. there is no build sheet. Shows 72k miles on the odometer. which I believe are original as the title shows close to that. Car was originally a 383 4bbl car. but a previous owner has installed a 318 for better gas mileage. Original motor is missing. Motor does turn over. but I have not gotten it to start. Hood is a different color. so it may have been an Air Grabber car originally but since the tag is missing it's hard to say. The car has some scrapes and dents. which is to be expect for a car this age. Trunk floor is in great shape. Quarters have some minor bubbling. but can be patched very easily. Roof has surface rust. but no rust through. The floorpans do need some attention as I believe some water pooled in them and they are rusted through in places. However. the top of the frame rail is in good shape. All frame rails are solid and straight. Interior is typical of Arizona cars. and will need to be restored. but it is very complete. VIN number matches the door tag and cowl stamping. I could not find the trunk lip number. This is an excellent candidate for restoration and a very solid car. I have a clear. open Arizona title.
