Description for Pontiac GTO 1972
Up for auction is my 1972 Pontiac GTO. it is PHS documented and boasts the original matching numbers 400 block. during the rebuild we put late 60's # 62 heads on it. but I still have the original 7K3's. that come with the car. It has a turbo hydromatic 400 transmission and 323 posi traction rear end. The car runs strong. shifts smooth. drives and stops straight. This is a very solid Oklahoma car that has all of it's original sheet metal. the floors. frame and trunk are in excellent condition. The paint job is 8 years old and is very straight. flat and shiny. there are some minor imperfections. when standing right on top of it. there are a couple of stress cracks in the endura bumper and one in the hood. The interior is original ivory white buckets with center counsel and shifter. the counsel is in good shape. the dash has no cracks. the rug is like new. the headliner has no rips or tears. nbsp;neither do the seats. The door panels are in good driver quality shape. The orange exterior and white interior color combo. I think is a real head turner. but my wife says more like a neck breaker. All of the chrome and stainless steel trim are like new. the American racing torque thrust rims are near perfect. the tires probably have a season left on them. so the car will eventually need some new sneakers. Overall the car is a super nice driver quality automobile. Please take a look at the pictures. I tried to do my best to explain and show in detail. the condition of this vehicle. Whoever buys this. I do not think will be disappointed and will get much enjoyment driving it. Thanks for your interest. The car is for sale locally. so this auction may end. it is being sold as is and the buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. Any questions you can contact me at 716-510-4990 ask for Tom.
