This GTO was delivered new to Ted Rapp Pontiac in Cinnaminson NJ in the month of January 1967. It was manufactured by the proud workers of the UAW at the Pontiac plant in Framingham, assachusetts.

The first owner that the GTO can be traced back to was Larry Berger of Cherry Hill NJ. Mr. Berger owned this car up until 1980.

This car was then purchased by a young man named Edward Probst. Ed, nown by many in the neighborhood as Eddie was playing baseball one day when someone hit a ball down the street and the ball rolled in front of Mr. Berger's home. The door of Mr. Berger's garage was up and sitting in the garage was this 14 year old, riginal GTO. Young Eddie was awestruck at the sight of the GTO and eventually went back a few days later and asked Mr. Berger if this car was for sale. Mr. Berger and Eddie stuck up a deal and Eddie drove the car home the next day.

Eddie owned the car for almost 2 years. During this time, ddie cared for the car and kept it as original as he could. He was tempted to remove the original tires and wheels and replace with Cragar Super Sport mag wheels and other speed equipment since that was the rage in the early 80's, ut he choose not to. After owning the car for almost 2 years Eddie was forced to sell the car due to personal reasons.

I was a senior in high school and heard thru a mutual friend that Eddie was selling the GTO. I met with Eddie and again the GTO exchanged ownership. The car's finish was starting to show its signs of age with cracked lacquer paint and some small corrosion but it was still mostly original and mechanically it was in excellent condition. I have owned this car since 1982 and drove this car every day before having a collision with a utility pole damaging the 1/4 panel on a fateful April night in 1982.

As a result of the collision the car was taken to a friend's home and stored in the back yard. Life went on for me and I bought a new car, ot married had children, ll the while the car sat dormant under a tarp in the back yard of a friends home. In 2012 I visited my friends house and looked under the tarp. It brought back memories about all the good times I in the car. It was at that moment I decided this GTO needed to relive its glory. Therefore I embarked on a 2 year, o expense spared ground up restoration and this car is now fully restored to better condition then when it rolled off the assembly line in 1967. I am a huge car enthusiast and now that this car is done I am ready to let it go for someone else to enjoy. This car has always been a local car to NJ with low ownership since new.
