Description for Pontiac Fiero 1986
1986 Fiero SE 2M6 has 110,000 miles on the chassis but engine has about 10,000 miles on it. Transmission has about 20,000 miles since rebuilt.
Vehicle: 355 ci Chevy small block, speed manual transmission(Fiero), ngine and transmission were installed using a V-8 Archie kit. Edelbrock Performer intake, delbrock 600 CFM electric choke carb, RP stainless braided lines, allory Pressure regulator, ccel HEI distributer, &N air filter, -8 Archie water pump conversion, -8 Archie radiator, -8 Arhie Centerforce clutch plate, ilton starter, orvette JetHoat coated exhaust manifolds, uper Trap mufflers, EW "in tank"fuel pump, ew Fuel level sending unit, early new brakes front and rear, ront 10"vented rotors with larger calipers. New Battery. New Chrome Valve Covers have been added since pictures were taken.
Upgrades: Koni Suspension front and rear, "lowering kit, ear Anti-sway bar, span>4 core radiator with remote on/off fan, ront mounted battery with trickle charger, uto Meter shift light, ires are 225/50-16 rear and 205/55-16 fronts, ims are American Racing black and polished honeycomb style.
Cosmetics: Small crack in drivers side front fender, river side rocker has a crack 4 — 5 inches long, ome minor peeling of clear coat in some small areas, ome minor chips and scratches. Driver seat has fabric worn from getting in and out of car. Drivers side manual control for mirror does not work well.
Engine: Recently engine started blowing smoke/steam from right side exhaust. I was told it was probably a blown head gasket. Or I would think it could be a cracked head. It is drivable but don't know for how far, don't think I would drive it for more than a couple miles.
Notes: Engine starts hard when cold. A little cold blooded at idle. Car had A/C but it was not re-installed after engine installation, /C compressor comes with vehicle.
