If you have less than 10 feedback please contact me before bidding. Other wise I will cancel your bid. This is a rare and special car! Here is a super rare and collectible 1965 Pontiac Grand Prix four speed tripower black plate car. Documented by Pontiac Historic Services this Grand Prix came from the factory with the following options; AM/FM Radio (now missing) has A. M. with manual ant. . Inside non-glare tilt mirror. Back up lights. Verba-Phonic rear speaker (Reverb). Power steering. Soft ray windshield. Outside DS rear mirror. custom seat belts w/outboard retractors. front floor mats. white wall tires. 4 SPEED Fully Synchronized Muncie Transmission. Tachometer. And The tripower setup was a dealer installed item as this car was a 4bbl. - Burgundy paint and a black interior. This special car has been in Southern California its whole life. It even has the original black plates still on it. The engine code is WE and is amazingly the original numbers matching 389!!! The body is nice and straight and almost completely rust free. The top of the drivers side fender has a small rust spot and the hood does too- right next to it. Something must have been sitting on it there. I have a replacement hood and the fender fix is minor. Also some rust in the trunk. This car does run and drive but has been in storage for many years. I drove it on the streets when I bought it and it shifts thru all the gears really well with plenty of power. The tripower setup is a blast!!! I Please feel free to ask any questions. I really hate to sell this car but sadly need to. You can see that it has a pretty nice body. There is a small rust bubble/hole in the ps fender bottom and a tiny rust spot right behind the ps rear wheel well also some just under the stainless trim at the bottom of the rear window. All very minimal for a fifty year old car. This car has been in storage for years now and will obviously need to be restored but it is a rare complete and mostly operational classic muscle car. There is a small dent in the middle of the deck lid. When I tried to start it up the ignition switch was no longer working. Fortunately I had another keyed ignition switch which I have installed. I was not able to remove the old switch so it is still in the dash. It starts now and the carbs are not leaking. When it warms up there is a squeaking sound maybe the power steering or alternator? I drove the car on my property the other day and the brakes are not so good. There must be a leaky cylinder -no surprise as it has been sitting. The engine was detailed by the person I bought it from. It has a complete dual exhaust system. The headliner will need to be replaced but the dome light works. The floors and frame are fine as you would expect a So. Cal. car to be. All the lower stainless trim is complete and is in nice condition and lines up well too. The last time I drove it on the streets was when I bought it five or six years ago and it was really fun. If you live out of State or country I can help with the delivery coordination. International sales are welcome. Also I can install the replacement hood I have to make shipping easier.
