1956 Pontiac Star Chief 2 Door Coupe Repainted and Rebuilt Beauty             I am pleased to offer this 1956 Pontiac Star Chief.  VIN # is A856H3862.  Odometer shows 3000 miles +/- (which translates to 103,000 miles).  Only approx. 500 miles driven since the motor and trans. were professionally rebuilt.  Car was painted in it's original green and white color combination approx. 2 years ago.  Interior is vinyl with cloth and is also the original color combination of green and white.This beauty features: - Power bucket seats - Rack and pinion steering - Center console - AM/FM CD stereo with remote CD changer in the trunk - New paint (approx. 2 years ago) - New interior with all new weather stripping  (approx. 1 year ago) - Original 316 V-8 engine bored out 60 over (line bored and balanced) - All new internal engine parts except for crank which was fine - Original trans. changed to 700R4 - Electronic ignition - Rebuilt carb. - New tires with white walls - Dual exhaust - All new interior insulation including trunk - Vintage air (works great) - Vintage heat - Power windows (front only) - Power steering - Aftermarket spinner hubcaps - Very solid underside (see pictures)Production #'s

I have not personally inspected this vehicle.  I am relying on the pictures and descriptions provided by the seller.  I can tell based on pictures and conversations with the owner that this Pontiac is in excellent restored condition and ready to impress.  Drive it, how it, njoy it.
