1981 PONTIAC FIREBIRD FORMULA T-TOP CAR
Power steering,power disk brakes,power windows,tilt wheel.A/C car,not hooked up.Ordered from factory with the 231 Buick V-6
Only 5900 Formula'swere ordered in 1981, robably less than half that with the Buick 231.It may not be your favorite choice of engine for a Formula, ut low production it is !
Engine was rebuilt a few years ago,at that time an Aluminum intake and Holly w/elc. choke added.Fires right up,high idle choke, hen kick down.Runs decent,can't get in trouble with a V-6 !New plugs,wires,air cleaner.Valve covers could use new gaskets.
The undercarriage is really clean, s the pictures will show. Nice floorboards and sub frame,clean frame rails.A real nice start if your looking to go full restoration.Exterior is a 10 footer,car was repainted at sometime,shows some previous work on drivers side qtr. andboth lower front fender sections have some rust starting to show,touch ups here and there.
Power windows work,(could use somealignment).Interior need TLC. Seats are fair,could use recovering.drivers door panel missing,new ABS cover laying over orig. dash pad. functional after market gauges.
All new rotors,calipers pads, nner/outer wheel bearing and seals. Flowmaster exhaust not too old.sold as is..Comes with bill of sale and copy of present registration.
This is a great entry level Formula or father son first car. You look really cool but can't get into trouble.Drive it for a while, hen come winter slip in the 400 that should have been in there in the first place !
