Description for Pontiac GTO 1969
1969 GTO with 455 that has been stripped of emission restrictions. It has been rebuilt and bought with understanding that it only had 500 miles but this cannot be confirmed and has been listed with 140,000 miles. Serpentine belt system added with rebuild. Alternator rebuilt, orn added that had been missing. Stereo with CD and Bluetooth added along with upgraded speakers. New tires, orrect rims and lugs for year added. There is some minor body work needed to front nose that has not been done yet. Brakes and engine gone over to make sure all is in great repair and all working without issues. Great driver! 4 speed with Hurst shifter. When I got car the AC did not work, orn missing, eeded new key cylinder in steering column: All done.
The engine is painted candy apple red with polished aluminum and chrome. Car came with Aluminum rims that can be added. 15" rims are now on it and the aluminum other set is also 15". The interior is in great shape. The dash is not cracked but is about 98% perfect. The center air vent has been replaced with after market. There is a small nick on the back right quarter but no dents. A couple of the quarter panels have been replaced and the entire car had been painted from the original green to the now blue with purple blend in the clear coat to give it the look it currently has. Except for the front nose touch up and a bit or two little things to make it perfect, he car is in really great shape and fun to drive and sounds great.
I am really particular about my cars and make sure a true mechanic that has a history with cars of this vintage works on them. I can give you names and numbers of mechanic if you have any questions. Because the alternator was custom, t was rebuilt vs. being replaced.
