Description for Pontiac Trans Am 1974

Here for sale is my 1974 455 SD Trans Am, ith a Turbo 44 automatic transmission.I own and operate a restoration shop and purchased this car 15 years ago. It is an all numbers matching drive train, romcarburetorto rearend and it has only 29K original miles. Miles are low because it was a race car back in the day.
This car was originally a northeast car and was very heavily undercoated. When I pulled the interior out and removed the original carpet, he floors look beautiful. It has all original paint, here was light surface rust in a few spots that I wire wheeled to bare metal and sprayed the areas with Ospho to preserve those areas. The only areas on the floor pan that will need to be replaced are the small, enter sections directly underneath the rear seat right and left side, here you would sit. The rest of the floor pan is in awesome condition with original paint. The inner and outer rockers are also without rust. The trunk pan has a small hole on the drivers side corner of the inlaid section, ery easily repaired, the rest of the trunk has original GMtrunk spackle paint on it and is in very good condition along with the inner wheel houses. All of these areas mentioned can be seen in detail on the photo and video links below. As far as sheet metel replacementthis car will need a roof panel, ight and left quarter panels with outer wheel houses. The hood and fenders are in very good condition as are the front and rear bumpers and valance panels. There is a small crack on the passenger side header panel below the grill. Also, purchased a very nice set of honey comb wheels with new tires, hey will need new trim rings and center caps.
The engine is completely rebuilt by Scotty's Performance Engines in Brooksville, lorida, ho is a renowned performance engine builder. I bumped the compression up from 8 to 1 to 10 to 1 and installed a ram air IV cam shaft. Everything on the engine is original on the car from the day it left the factory from the carburetor down, long with the original paint shaker hood assembly. I also have the original transmission and all numbers match with the exception of the last number which is a 4 instead of a 5. Upon contacting PHS, hey said it was common back then with human error. I have detailed photos of the above mentioned areas. I also have the original radiator and fan shroud, rive shaft and a lot of miscellaneous parts shown in the photos. That includes a lot of trim parts for the interior along with the seat belts.
The interior on the car is all original and is in very good condition. The dash and instrument panel is in wonderful condition without cracks. This is the highest option Super Duty I have seen, t is equipped with power steering, ower disc brakes, ilt wheel, ower windows, ower locks, ir conditioning, ear window defogger, ear console (I do not have the rear ashtray), eluxe interior, M/FM radio and an 8 track tape player. This Super Duty has a beautiful color combination of Admiralty blue with deluxe white interior, pon viewing the photos, ou will see that there are no tears in the seats or door panels, he carpet is original and is in good condition for its age. These white interiors are known to discolor with age but if you know what you are looking at, ou will note that the dash and the interior is in exceptional condition for its age.
After owning the car for 5 years, y thoughts on trying to locate all of the miscellaneous parts came to an end when I discovered and purchased a 1974Pontiac Firebird Esprit in the exact color combination as my Super Duty and with original paint on more than 50% of the car. The Firebird has every single piece that I would need to restore my Super Duty back to its original condition down to the finest detail. There are also photos and videos of this car in the links below showcasing its value for a proper restoration.
The only reason why I have considered to sell my Super Duty befor restoring itis I have found another car I am very interested in. If it sells great and if it doesn't I will restore it this winter and take it to Mecum next yearas the engine has just been completed.
These cars in concourse condition fetch prices in the 6 figures and rarely come up for sale as a restoration project. It would be an awesome deal for any collector or investor.
Upon viewing the photos and videos, hould you have any questions, lease contact me by phone as my time on the computer is very limited. If you have less than 20 Ebay transactions, lease contact mebefore bidding or your bid will be removed. Serious bidders only.
Thank you and good luck bidding,
