Body:Over $25,000.00 in parts and labor have been invested not including theinitialcost of the car. All work was done by aprofessionalhot rod builder to a high standard. Work done includes the body beingmini tubbed 3 1/4 inches using a second set of new inner fenders to suit a pro-touring setup, ut to remain stock inappearance. The body was on arotisserie and bracedwhen the old panels were removed it was then media blasted before the new metal work was done. At that point new quarters, ew floor pan (SS with automatic shifter plate), ew trunk floor, ew door skins, ew fenders, runk lid, ew tail panel and rocker panels were installed. Many miscellaneous parts are powder coated and cadmium plated. The car comes with all glass, ront bumper, rill, eater controls and assembly and much more. The Heidts sub-frame seen in the pictures is not included and not available, here is no hood and as it was intended for a Heidts sub-frame and four link the front inner fenders are gone.
History:This car started as a 1966 Pontiac Acadian which is identical in every way to a Chevy Nova except the grill, ail light lenses and emblems.
Over All:If you are restoring a Nova why not start with a body that is, or the most part brand new. You will save thousands in time and labor and end up with a car that is far better than one that is a repaired rust bucket.
Reason for Selling:I have asizablecollection of cars and projects and have reached the age that I havedecidedto downsize.
Location:The car is located in Victoria British Columbia a few hours from the Washingtonborder. I canhelpfind a shipper and help with the paperworkif the car is being shipped to the US as I am familiar withthe process, ut I will only do this for thewinningbidder as it takes a lot of calls and emails to get the best price. I can also arrange for overseas shipment. If thewinningbidder is from the US I can have to car shipped to Seattle Washington (at the buyers cost) if that is a moreconvenientpickup location.The body can be crated and is now on a dolly for easy moving. I estimate the total weight to be about 1200 pounds.
