The solar red paint is nice. it has good black interior and Rally wheels. Its powered by a good running 400 cubic inch engine. connected with a strong Turbo 400 engine. I think it drives very good with power steering and the drum brakes stop good. I think this is a real nice car. its a extra nice driver. its no new perfect show queen thats rolled out of the trailer at the car show. VIN: 223378U116128 TITLE: Clear title in hand with a VIN that matches the car. MILES: 58512 reading today. it probally has another 100. 00. but its had to tell for sure because lots of things have been rebuilt. restored or replaced. HISTORY: I can not tell you much. my friend near Cincinnati fround the car for me. It belonged to a lady that lived in Miamiburg. she had most of the work done. WHO AM I BUYING FROM? My name is Ron Watson. I'm a 68 year old retired auto mechanics instructor and was a helicopter mechanic and instructor in the Army in the late 60s. I work out of a large garage here at my home and have dealers liciense. HAS THE CAR EVER BEEN IN A ACCIDENT? The title states nothing. I see no signs of a accident. the frame looks straight. no big kinks in sheet metal. HOW IS THE PAINT? The paint color is solar red. Chevrolet calls this Matado red. It a good deep dard red! I see no dents. no dings and no rust bubbles and the car is straight to look down the sides. Its nice paint. you my find a tiny chip if you. but you would have to look with a real critical eye. The car has had a repaint. I don't know how long ago. it was done when I got the car. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? It has been redone and is in very good condition! The seat covers show no wear. the headliner looks new. dash has no cracks. carpet real nice. door panels good. painted trim good with some very minor scuffs. the steering wheel has some cracks in the base where it mounts if you look form them. The consol does have some faded trim. but the wood grain still looks good. DOES THE HOOD TACHOMETER WORK? Yes it does work. the lense is a little dual but very readable. HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? I thing it drives good. it has power steering. HOW DOES THE CAR STOP? I think it stops good. drum brakes on all four. HOW ARE THE WHEELS AND TIRES? The wheels are Rallies. the tires good radials. The rear wheels and tires are larger than stock. they look like 10 inch and give the aggressive Muscle Car look. HOW IS THE ENGINE? I think it runs good. its a 400 cubic inch. I could not find the casting number. but I think its original. It has a 4 barrel carb and is clean and detailed on top. We did repaint the faded paint on top so it would look good at a car show. I don't know if it has been rebuilt. but it runs good. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? It looks like the heavy duty 400 Turbo to me. It shifts good with no slip. DO THE GAUGES WORK? The gas gauge works. the oil and temp are in a pod in front of the consol. this is a Old School thing. WIPERS WORK! HORN WORKS! HEATER BLOWER WORKS! RADIO WORKS. DO THE LIGHTS WORK? The headlights work on high and low beam. the tail lights work. the truns signals work. the brake lights work. The dome light is not working and 1 inside turn signal indicator. HOW IS THE GLASS? The windshild looks new. the side window roll up and down. the back window is good. The side window have some marks from rubbing the old weather stripping over the years. it has been replaced. The glass in the outside mirrows is nice. the inside rear view mirrow is faded. HOW IS THE CHROME? The bumpers look real nice with no dull places or rust. the emblems look good. HOW IS THE EXHAUST? Its Old School dual exhaust with glass pacs. Its old. but usable. It has the Old School sound! HOW IS THE UNDERSIDE OF THE CAR? I think its fine for a 1968 car. The frame looks good to me and the body mounts look good. The floor bottom have been replaced. I can see the seams. Its not beautiful. its just looks like a solid old car to me. If you want to put mirrows under it at the car show you will need to sand and paint. WHERE IS THE CAR LOCATED? Here in Athens. Tennessee 37303.
