LOTS OF THUMP IN THE TRUNK AND ROLLING ON CUSTOM AMERICAN RACING RIMS.   Mean and nasty pro tour 1971 Pontiac Firebird with built a 406 c. i. engine. Vintage a/c. 4 wheel disc brakes. Formula hood and custom mix Dupont Molten Bronze paint. Many hours of high level workmanship and money went into this extensive. nut and bolt restoration. The body on this bird was professionally prepped. flares molded. striping added then painted. cleared and rubbed to near perfection. The headlights have been changed to Euro style halogens for great looks and much brighter lights. The bumpers and grill have been blacked out for a stealthy appearance. Under the hood is show quality with a Pontiac 400 engine bored 0. 030 making it a 406 c. i. beast. The compression is 10 to 1 and will run on 91 octane fuel. Roller rockers and gear drive timing set. Billet HEI distributor and Demon 750 cfm carb feeds the fuel. Large capacity aluminum radiator with dual electric fans keeps things cool. Power steering and power 4 wheel disc brakes makes cruising a breeze. Vintage air conditioning has been added for hot summer days. The transmission has been upgraded to a 200 4 R automatic with a Trans Go shift kit. The rear end is GM 10 bolt posi with Motive 4. 11 gears. The interior is no exception to the all new theme. New carpet. door panels. headliner. dash pad and sill plates. Power windows. The floors are have layered with sound deadener.  The front buckets have been upgraded to a race style seat for comfort and safety. Tilt steering column. A thumping stereo system plays the tunes. The undercarriage is loaded with new suspension and hardware. All bushings are poly for reliability and performance. The metal structure is excellent with everything being cleaned and painted for a better than new appearance. Ceramic coated headers with dual Flowmaster H pipe exhaust lets everyone know this bird means business. The wheels are 17" special edition American Racing wrapped in performance tires that look great and really hug the road.
