1969 Pontiac Gto manual trans

Description for Pontiac GTO 1969

Car needs restoration. Motor is a non original 400. it has the original 3 speed manual transmission. Car has power steering and front disc brakes. It was last started on 12/31/15. I tried to start it once since then and for some reason it didnt start. Im not sure why it didnt start, houldnt be anything major since i last drove it around the neighborhood about 3 weeks ago and it ran great the car just didnt start last time i tried. It very well could be the battery because it is very weak ive had to jump it a time or two. I have a video of the motor running from about a month ago. The car needs quarter skins and has normal gto rust in the floors. There are some pinholes in the trunk also. Also has one little spot on rear of each fender toward the door. It originally did have a parchment vinyl top. Original parchment interior with bench seat. The upholstery is nice. It did have a little mildew on door panels and rear seat in some pictures but it has been cleaned and looks almost new. It does need carpet and headliner. Heat works. Radio and speakers are missing. There is a small tear about 3 inches long on the edge of the passenger side of the seat. The lights and wipers work minus the parking lamps because those are missing. The car does have a solid frame and rockers. It recently has had a new pressure plate and resurfaced flywheel. The transmission shifts great and is very smooth. True mileage unknown.
