Description for Pontiac Trans Am 1978

78 trans am for sale. I bought this as a winter project. then got offered a job transfer to the south. so we are selling the house and moving. The car is pretty solid. nbsp; the floor pans. trunk floor. frame rails are all solid. I did find a quarter size rust spot in trunk but that was it. the tail panel looks perfect. the hood and trunk lid are also near perfect. the bad places are the lower quarters and a spot on roof by the t top. see pictures. nbsp; the car was minus the engine when I got it. but most all of it was in trunk. minus the block. all included with car. it was also missing the front seats. and head liner. there is some interior trim pieces included. but am sure there is some missing. all glass is good except windshield which is cracked. nbsp; the dash pad also has a couple cracks in it. the door panels are included with window switches. but panels are rough. car needs restored. but is a good solid foundation. that dosent need a lot. trany is still in car. I have a 78 pont. 400 with trany that I picked up else where that is also included. I was going to do a complete rebuild on it and install in car. I would like to be as flexible as I can on pick-up time. but as I stated house is for sale. so car will need to be picked up as quicly as possible. would say a couple weeks max. I will work with winner as much as I possibly canthis all happened pretty quick. we have spent most of our time looking at house in Tenn. and rest of time getting this one ready to sell. Y88the dash shows signs of gold tint around instrument bezels and in corners. has faded most of gold awaythe T-TOPS are black glass from chrome trim up about 6'' with the rest being gold tinted glass. I thought about cancling auction and keeping. but will let in run to end. If winner is not completely satisfied with car they may walk away no questions. thanks Pat
