Check out this 2 owner 1980 Turbo Trans am, all original, untouched and rust free. Still has 100% of its factory original paint. The interior looks amazing. Factory T-Tops with storage bags, factory added power antenna works great and includes technician instruction sheet. AC blows cold, Tach, clock and speedometer work as do the other factory gauges. The power windows, door locks, power trunk, horn and all lights work as well. The factorycruise control does not work. 2nd owner stated the luggage rack was dealer installed.
This Trans Am was bought new from Jim Shyne Motors in Fallon Nevada for $11,895.79 on January 26,1980 and has been in Nevada its whole life. The car has a Michigan title, the second owner has a property there but the car never went. I do believe 61662 is the original miles. There is paper work included that should verify this. In March 2003 the car had 60934 miles and in April 2006 had 61394 miles. As you can see this carhasn't been driven much in the last 13 years. The tires were replaced in 2008.
This car isdefinitely a survivor. The doors close great, no sagging or slamming needed. I just replaced the window sweeps on both doors so the windows move a little slow. I also replaced the left outside door handle. The rear tail light assemblies are ok but should be replaced. The carburetor might need to be rebuilt also, the idle is high with the AC on. Remember this car is 36 years old, this is a very nice 1980 Turbo Trans Am, I feel that for the money someone is going to get a great car. Call Scott 702-339-0572 with any questions.
