Description for Pontiac Trans Am 1979

Here I have my 1979 Trans Am That I bought from a friend of mine 2 years ago . He had the trans rebuilt 27000 mils ago and then rebuilt the engine 7000 mils ago . drove it to work and back for about a year or 2 then parked it 14 years later I got it from him. I cleaned out the tank and fuel lines changed oil cranked tell oil presser built up. then stared right up perrrrred. tested trans still worked great. so I figured I would just paint it but I just kept finder rust here and there in tell it got to much for me and I went ahead and dismantled it. I put it on a rotisserie and media Blasted the tub/tank/rear end/springs/frame/and every thing that I could. there still more to clean small stuff most of the big stuff already done and reinstalled. I resealed and painted underside of tub and frame reinstalled frame with all new bushings/bearing/ball joints/seals/shocks/ ext. Reinstalled Engine and trans and everything under the hood. front fenders/hood/bumper/head lights/doors SEE PICSstarted bodywork ----------- Now we get to the reason I decided to sell it- It seems that I am getting to old to do this kind of sanding the Bad back and Bad shoulder just keeps hurting and I just cant seem to get the energy or motivation to go out and work on it so it just sits there WAITING. I have over $5000. 00 invested not counting labor . verything under the hood is new or rebuilt and done. everything under the tub is new or rebuilt and done. What's needed to finish is body and paint . windows . interior / I have all the used parts for the interior and the windows but not the windshield (Broke it removing it) I spent over $2000. 00 in new parts got the receipts.
