If you're a serious buyer I know you will read it in full. Selling my beautiful 1965 Pontiac GTO real GTO with complete PHS documents. window sticker and original protecto-plate and warranty paper work. It even documents the dates and mileage the first few services were done back in 65-66 hand written by the original owner. The VIN tag has never been removed from the car as it still has the rosette rivets and the body tag has never been removed as it still has the factory hollow rivets. This car is unmolested and I have clean title in hand. It has a 1966 389 / 325HP engine date code June 20th 1966. It is a YF block 569945 / 9778789. The engine is mated to a Hurst 4 speed and still retains the original floors. rear quarters and trunk pan. 12 bolt rear end. The interior is gorgeous. the paint is gorgeous and there is absolutely NO rot or rust. The underneath is extremely clean. No leaks. starts right up. always stored in a garage and in the winter it is stored in a heated garage. It is an all metal car and every thing on the car works as it should. All the weather gaskets are in great shape and very leak proof. Exterior: The glass is all in excellent shape. no chips and no hazing very clear and in great shape. All the chrome is in excellent shape. may have a few scratches here and there but no pitting and nothing major. The paint is gorgeous and was done professionally about 10-15 years ago. It still shines up excellent as you can see by the pics. On the front valence under the bumper (see attached pic) there is some flaking. The passenger side front fender has a 4 inch scrape (see pic). And last on the trunk there is a little spider crack about the size of a quarter (very hard to see). Other than those minor flaws the body and paint are beautiful. The underneath of the car is super clean. NO rot or rust I tried my best getting under the car but you can get the idea of how clean it is. The tires are in excellent shape and have plenty of life left. Interior: The interior is gorgeous. No rips. no cracks. Headliner is beautiful. carpet is very clean all the gauges work as they should. The blower for heat doesn't work. will be looking into that prior to sale. Nothing really to say about it except its gorgeous and I would say a 9. 5 out of a 10. Driving and Mechanical: First of all this car is crazy fast with a crazy amount of torque. it will throw you back in your seat. The motor starts right up no problem. no smoke. no ticks or knocks. no weird noises what so ever. I can't tell you if it has ever been rebuilt as I'm not the original owner but I can tell you it is very tight and very healthy. It has a Holley 4 barrel with electric choke and a high rise intake. The Hurst transmission is very tight goes into gear very easy. doesn't have any slop and does not pop out of gear EVER. The clutch is very stiff. does not slip at all. has a great grabbing point and feels like new. The brakes work perfect and have plenty of life left. The car goes straight down the road and the front end is tight. If you hit the brakes you stop straight and it doesn't pull you to the right or left.
