Description for Pontiac Firebird 1969
1969 Pontiac Firebird Convertible. Red with black interior. It has a 4 speed 455 built by Scott Gunderman's Performance Engines out of Indianapolis. This engine has under 10,000 miles. I have original build sheet for the engine. I also have the original 350 engine for this car on an engine stand, if you want to put it back to numbers matching, but why would you....lol. The original 350 has 85,000 miles on it. This car was an Alabama car and is in wonderful condition. No rust. It has a small place of fish eye on the fender. Other than that it is very nice paint. The top is decent. I rarely use the power top. It is in the garage under a cover and only comes out a few times. I purchased this car because I wanted a 4 speed 69 convertible that I could drop this engine in. The two invoices for the engine total up to over $5,700 back in 2000 when it was built. It has a very heavy cam sound to it. New exhaust just installed. Sounds wonderful. I have the original owners manual. The original boot for the top. Someone put an after market radio in it. I have a stock radio to put back in. I have not done that yet. The car has the ram hood with the tach in the hood and back spoiler. It has the fake wood counsel and dash. Seats are in fantastic shape. If you want a weekend play toy or one to take to car shows, this is it. Very few cars are in this great of shape, convertible, 4 speed and btw it has a custom build 455 in it.On Nov-27-16 at 08:05:47 PST, seller added the following information:Video of it running: https://youtu.be/jlAUJt6I42g
