For sale is a 1978 Pontiac Firebird project. Pretty solid car with complete running gear. Needs a full restoration but is worth saving. This car was last registered in 2011. and was running and driving at that time. and the previous owners started a restoration on it. The body work was done. but the car has been outside so some of it is cracking and I would count on redoing it all. The floors have been redone in the front and rear on both sides. and while not a perfect job they are welded in and solid. The engine is a 350ci small block. Transmission is a th350. I have no knowledge of when they were last redone. but they were running when parked. Trans is hooked to a Hurst Pro-Matic 2 shifter. Interior was redone at some point. and the seats may be able to be saved with some good elbow grease. Almost everything is there. so it's not a terrible place to start. Trim tag says the car was originally Ember Mist outside with white interior. Nice combo. I own a small restoration shop and would be willing to finish this car if you'd be interested in working out a deal. I took it on a partial trade for a '78 Z28 and thought about building it. but I have other projects that are higher priority. Buyer is responsible for pick-up or for arranging shipping.
