This is my car and is Titled in my name with a clear Texas Title. Car runs and drives but not road worthy and needs to be restored. It has the original and correct PWH coded Pontiac 400 with the matching VIN number. Car is complete and pretty original. Just has no emissions like converter, EGR and no carbon canister. Most of the rest appears in stock condition. Engine starts and runs good. Carb needs work or adjusting and rough at start up but once warmed up runs good. 4 speed is a Borg Warner T-10 and it works and shifts good.
Interior is a bit rough and needs new seat upholstery, headliner and door panels are kind of poor. Leather and some plastic is dry in the rear and there are some little wear and tear and little fixes needed in places. Rear mesh deck is un-cut and original. Car has original correct red lit radio and it works. Dash is nice and has no cracks. Just installed brand new windshield - so all glass is good. Odometer reads 95k miles but have no idea if that is correct.
Brakes have some issues. Replaced 3 of the 4 brake calipers and master cylinder. Brakes still occasionally lock up. Do not know why. Have some brand new SS front brake lines, a new porportional valve and new brake hoses coming with the car.
Electrical system has very little working. Not much beyond the firewall work like headlights or anything else. Maybe a connector or plug or ground. I have never messed with the electrical fuses or wires much at all. Car starts and runs and tail lights work but power windows do not work either.
Wheels are correct style and all fair but one wheel has a edge chipped out but still holds air fine. Has two brand new front tires and rear are old but look fair and all hold air fine. Fronts are very close to the fender. Don't know if the front has been lowered but the tires are the factory 225/70-15 size.
Body has some rust issues. Worst is the rear. Back tail panel is rusted in the rear and rotted along the bottom. Might need a rear lower quarter patch or two but most panels are pretty solid. A few rust spots and patching needed in places but not too bad. Floor and trunk are good. Paint is poor and car needs a total re-paint and restoration.Over all this is a rare and very collectable car. It needs a lot of restoration and work but is is pretty complete and original and it runs and drives. This car is not road worth due to the brake and electrical issues and must be towed. Please bid thru the Ebay system I will not accept side offers.
