Retro California Blue Plate comes with the car.
This Pontiac Firebird is a nicely restored car that delivers the performance of a Trans-Am with a more sophisticated persona.
It still retains its Numbers Matching Factory Original 400 CID V8Engine, Turbo 400 Transmission and Factory Rearend.
The Factory Original Engine has the proper casting number, casting date, 400CIDvehicle suffix and most importantly this Firebird's VINstamp on the block!
The Factory Original Turbo 400 Transmission has the proper casting number, the transmission tag is still affixed to it and again most importantly this Firebird'sVIN stamp is on it. The Rearend is likewise correct and Original.
These were all photo documented by the owner.
?A Rare Bird indeed with all the Factory Original mechanical components which could never be replaced....significantly adding to its great Investment Grade Value.
It sounds great, the Dual Exhaust has a great throaty rumble.
It stops well with Power DiscBrakes and handles with ease with its Power Steering.
Its Lucerne Blue Paint color is extremely nice with only a few minor imperfections.
The Black Vinyl Top is perfect with no bubbling or evidence of rust underneath that is so common with many cars.
The Exterior Trim is all in very presentable condition with no dings or nicks.
It is a Factory Air Conditioned Pontiac (while needing service) is RARE.
The Glass is all in good condition.
The correct Pontiac Rally wheels look great.
The Interior is super tidy with few issues if any.
The Seats, Door Panels, Carpet, and Headliner are all in great shape!
The Dash does not have a crack and the cluster is all very nice aside from a small crack on the radio bezel.
The trunk is smooth and clean of any rust or residue.
The Engine compartment is in great condition, tidy and shows pride of ownership and maintenance.
The Chassis mostly importantly is solid as one would expect from a Southern dry Arizona car....amazing find another Bird 46 years old that looks like that!
The Firebird drives out nicely with nice acceleration, handling and a firm shift and gets an outstanding amount of attention whenever its seen.
