Description for Pontiac Firebird 1992
Gen 3 Firebird Formula WS6 Race Car Roller Project 75% complete. Body & frame is a 1992 Formula T-Top car with a 1985 GTA doghouse. 6 point roll cage installed, front strut suspension replaced with new Vogtland coil springs set up for big-block, spindles off a 78 Camaro, tubular upper A-arms, outboard AFCO shocks, drilled & slotted rotors, Energy Suspension bushings throughout the front suspension. Interior has been gutted except for original dash, console, and door panels, all floor boards have been repaired with steel. Wheels are aluminum original WS6 Formula 16 x 8 with racing Z-rated 245/45-16 radials. Aluminum fuel line installed with electric fuel pump at rear and regulator in the front. No engine or Transmission. Original GM drum brake rear end in original mounts. New rear coil springs included but not installed. Outer body is somewhat rusty at the lower rear quarter panels but sub frames are solid. All glass is good although side windows have funky window tint film on them. All of the original wiring is still in the car so you can finish it with as many or as few factory features as you want to be functional
To be complete it needs fuel cell, seat(s), seat belts, front brake calipers & pads, engine & transmission, exhaust & battery. To be race ready you will probably want to replace the rear end with something more appropriate for performance and durability. Clean title in hand, ignition & door keys work, still could be legally streetable.
