Description for Pontiac Fiero 1985
You are bidding on a 1985 Pontiac Fiero GT that's in great shape for its age. The interior is in great shape. Hard to find. There is a center piece that warped from heat but they can be fixed. There was a guy that did this on ebay. Not sure if he still does but I'm sure someone in the fiero community (fiero forum) knows where it can be fixed. The cigarette lighter is in the glove compartment. We just use it to charge things so it's always off (missing in pic). The trunk compartment is clean and in nice shape. I have pics of it and additional pics if you want me to email them to you. There is one cracked sail that I noticed. The headliner will need to be replaced at some point. It's not hanging down but it will need to be done eventually. The windows are tinted and so is the sunroof. There are no leaks. It's tight. Under the hood is in great shape too. No mice have been in it. We use these deodorizers that they hate so they don't get near it. It runs well but needs a tune up. The trunk lid has a broken spring so the lid has to be held open or propped up with a board. We picked up this car at 55K in 2007 and hardly drove it. The guy wanted to sell it because it had a short in it and he always had to charge the battery up. Found the short in a wire under the seat. It was grounding things out ... lol You can tell besides the exterior needing paint, it has been well kept. Interior was covered. The car has never been in any accidents, etc. The engine has lots of pep. We are planning to move out of state so we're slowly putting things up for sale. I do have additional pics but with ebay only allowing 12 free, I just picked the most important ones. You can message me if you want me to send you more pics.In Maryland, this car qualifies for historic tags ... $51 for 2 years .. no emissions ... historic car insurance cheap .... very cheap. Mine is approx $150 a yr. and covers it at an agreed upon value since it's a historic collector's car. The fiero is the best kept secret if you're looking for a cool car with cheaper expenditures ... I looked up the value of this car and it's much more than what we're asking for the condition.
I have a letter from the original owner stating the miles were accurate and the last emissions test passed in 2009. I guess it either didn't qualify as a historic back then or we didn't know about the rule. Just paperwork I had in the glove compartment.
**We have other rare parts for the fiero that we bought as extras years ago so just ask if you're looking for something and we'll take a look around.
Buyer responsible for shipping if not being picked up locally. Please out of state people .... do not bid unless you know what shipping cost will be.
Buyers are urged to come see the car before bidding. Please message me to set up an appointment. No reserves. This car has been described accurately. No refunds on deposits. Know your costs before bidding ... Any questions, just ask. Thank you.
