1984 Indy Pace Car! Only 2000 of the 1984 Pace Car were built and very few still exist. This is a pretty rare vehicle! This car is in excellent condition except the engine is in need or repair or replacement.. 62500 original miles and the body needs no work. The finish is excellent, all grass good, the only appearance items it needs would be the red stripe around the body and the Indy 500 Decals, if you wanted them, New ones are available plus I have the originals that were never put on but may be dried out???? The interior is also in excellent condition with the except for a little wear on the drivers bolster which could be easily recolored. Carpets, door panels and dash are perfect. Absolutely no rust other that light surface rust on exposed suspension parts and muffler. I bought the car with the intent of replacing the engine with a 3.8 V-6 or a 3.4 DOHC. Having just come off a 2 year build I decided I was not ready to twist wrenches for awhile. This would be a real eye catcher whether you stay with the "iron duke 4 or replace it with a V-6 I have included one picture of a car with the correct decals. Any questions please feel free to ask. There is a ton of information on the internet on making the engine swap including Chevy V-8s and Northstars. There is even enough room for a big block 454!
