The car has a very interesting history and has survived by being stored most of its life in a garage.
First and for most, there are over 200 pictures available at the link below, so please take a minute to look over all the pictures.

History:
I purchased the car a couple years ago from the second owner in Mississippi. He owned the car since the early 80's and knew the owner before him, so I know a little history about the car before I purchased it. The previous owner had the car re-painted in the late 80's so the car has had one repaint in its life. Once I purchased the car I did basic maintenance and drove it.. So she remains basically stock as you see it today. The overall purpose of the car was to keep it stock and have a comfortable, drivable and reliable daily driver car that could be driven on family vacations, Car events, to work, or just a night out on the town.
Drive Train:
The GTO is equipped with the original YS coded 389 CID engine & Original 2 speed power glide Transmission along with a 3:23 Saf-T-Trac rear axle. In addition as you will see for the Pontiac Historical Society the car was a "Special Equipment" car with factory Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Dual Speed Wipers and Soft Ray Glass (Which is still in the car).
The car does have a factory correct Tri-Power set up. The PHS does show the car was a 4 barrel car but as you may know a lot of the Tri-Power set ups were added by the dealerships when the cars got delivered to them. The second owner did verify this with me as you can tell by the intake and carburetor on the car. I am not sure if the engine has been rebuilt or not but it shows no signs of needing any major mechanical repairs.
The ride quality of the car is great and absolutely no issues with handling or steering
The Original Rally I wheels give the car a great factory look and have a brand new set of (225/70/14) BF Goodrich Red Line radial t/a tires that put on the car in March of 2017
The car is an original factory A/C car which is another rare added bonus to this unique car. The A/C system works as it should and has been converted over to 134A Freon with a heavy duty clutch fan to keep the car cool on the hot Florida days.
Paint & Body:
The GTO was originally painted Mayfair Maize Yellow. The car was repaint back in the late 80's using the original paint color so the car has never had a color change. The paint and body show very well with now major issues or problems. The car retains both of its original rear quarters and the driver side floor pan does look like it was replace at some point in its history. Please keep in mind that the car has been repaint for well over 26+ years so there are some signs of wear on the paint. This car has been (and still is) driven and used as a driver quality car and has never been intended for a show quality car. If you are looking for a perfect car then this might not be the car for you.
Interior:
The car was born with the Starlight Black Interior which is still retains today. The interior is 100% original and has not been replaced with any aftermarket pieces... As you can see from the pictures there are a few places that have some wear signs but I could not bring myself to change any of it because the original interiors was still in great shape give that its over 50 years old... I believe that it speaks to the overall care of the car to still retain the original interior!
It's never been smoked in and has no funny smells. Again, the seats, carpet and door panels are in good condition...as they should be and look great.. All the interior lights still work and was an upgrade option on the PHS documents
All Instrument Gauges look clear and are all functional. The dash is mint condition with no cracked, tears, or wrapage of any kind. The windows and locks function as new.
The original AM stereo system is still in the car and works perfectly (or as good as an AM radio does).
This car is a true survivor car with one repaint and is an absolute pleasure to drive. It's been maintain in such a way that it requires very little maintenance and is user friendly.
There are no disappointments with this car...it is in amazing driver shape with no issues!
1965 GTO Factory A/C cars are very desirable and hard to find! Especially in good condition like this one. The car is for sale and I am a motivated seller so please do not wait until the end of the auction to contact me because more than likely it will be sold
