1980 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am51,875 Original Miles on the body and transmissionMotor was swapped in 2002 to an olds 403 out of a 79 Trans Am the swap was done right and motor is very healthy.The car has been garage kept and until last year it had not seen the road or daylight in 14 years.The car runs and drives great. I drive it about once a week so mileage may go up a little but not much. The body has what I believe is the original blue paint, it does have new decals.The paint is not perfect and does have flaws, pitting and a little surface rust but has no body filler or major rust/rot.It is a perfect candidate for quick paint spray to be show quality with very little work. Floor pan is rust free with the exception of one little spot under the rear seat on the drivers side and the trunk has a very small rust spot other than that the car is rust free. I can provide pictures upon request. Interior is almost all original I installed a new dash pad, carpet, door panels, and stereo system. Other than those components everything is original and in fairly nice shape for the age. The A/C was removed from the car when motor was swapped but the car has power windows and t-tops so that shouldn't be much of an issue. The car does run and drive without any issue however I wouldn't recommend driving it daily without going over it. The car has a new power steering pump, new belts, new battery, and a new gas tank installed. I would recommend doing brake work, all new hoses and new weather stripping on it. The breaks are feeling a little weak and hoses/weather stripping are dry rotted in spots from sitting.
