Description for Pontiac Trans Am 1978

RELISTED - Nothing like a buyer that doesn't pay.
1978 Pontiac Trans Am Roller (no transmission, engine) that will need restoration but is a good candidate due to having the WS6 handling package and former W72 400 engine with 4 speed transmission. Somewhere in the past the car was changed over to automatic transmission so the automatic brake pedal is still installed (4 speed pedals included). Transmission hump also cut slightly when made automatic. Rear axle is still posi-traction drum brake unit with 3.23 gear ratio. Has 15" x 8" snowflake wheels.
Car will need repairs to cowl area on passenger side under front glass, floor pans, trunk pan, lower rear quarters, lower front fenders, deck lid, and hood. Frame rails, rockers, roof, doors, firewall, and front sub-frame in good shape (I found an area on front sub frame that is a welded patch where the drag link mounts on the passenger side). Front glass is cracked, other glass in good shape. Interior upholstery is brittle due to sun exposure so most all plastic, carpet, headliner, upholstery, dash, door panels, etc... needs replacing.
Deposit of $500 due in Paypal within 24 hours of bid ending, the remainder in cash when picking up the car (do not pay all in Paypal). No reserve. Car must be picked up in Ozark, Alabama (no engine, transmission, or working brakes but car does steer). Has ignition key, no trunk or door key. Clear Alabama title and bill of sale provided from previous owner along with bill of sale from me.
Car looks like it has had one repaint in its history, blue over blue. PHS report included, car originally sold in Montgomery, Alabama and was found less than 20 miles from Montgomery. Been stored for 10+ years.
