Description for Pontiac GTO 1970
If you graduated High School between 1975 and 1985 this was the car you dreamed about. Driving this Hot Rod to High School would have made you the coolest guy in the parking lot. This car started life as a 1971 Pontiac Lemans Convertible. It was then converted into the better looking 1970 model year GTO Judge Tribute you see here. This car was built in a 70's Street Machine vibe with its period perfect accessories. From the E-T mags, M/T valve covers, Sun Tach, Hood Pins and lets not forget its "HURST Equipped" Shifter It even has the old hidden push start button under the dash, which was state of the art security back in the day. It now packs a YC code factory 335 HP 455 engine with a Muncie 4 speed behind it. The engine runs excellent with no smoke, knocks or ticking. It has plenty of good power but its not a 10 second racecar this car is a cruiser. It has brand NEW dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers, retaining the stock exhaust manifolds so you wont have to deal with none of the typical header leaks. Under the hood it has a NEW battery, NEW Edelbrock carb with electric choke, NEW plugs, NEW wires, NEW air cleaner, NEW fuel pump, NEW fuel filter, NEW upper and lower radiator hoses, NEW thermostat. Also under the hood is a brand NEW not rebuilt Power brake booster and Master cylinder as a matter when it comes to the brakes it has NEW front brake hoses, NEW disc brake calipers, NEW front rotors, All NEW front bearings, dust caps and seals, NEW rear wheel cylinders, NEW rear springs and hardware, NEW rear brake drums, NEW rear brake shoes. The car rides on all brand NEW Cooper Cobra tires with NEW Polished Aluminum E-T Mags styled Slots. The body looks real nice it is finished in Blitz Black paint which is very durable and it gives it that black prime look all the Hot Rods ran back in the 70's yet you can wash it like regular paint. It has NEW 1970 Judge REFLECTIVE stripes and logos along with a Brand NEW Judge spoiler, NEW Judge metal dual exhaust valance with NEW Judge stainless steel exhaust tips. Also a NEW rear bumper with NEW rear taillight lenses. The Convertible top operates smoothly and has no rips, I also have a black convertible boot that comes with the car. The trunk is finished in the original Black-Aqua trunk Spatter with a NEW original trunk mat and trunk weather strip. All the door weather-stripping is NEW as well. Up front the Headlight bezels are NEW as well as the correct high dollar hood pins. The interior is custom stitched with more padding and bolster added to the seats to make them more comfortable. It has a 70's style vintage NEW real WOOD steering wheel hooked up to a tilt column. The black rug is NEW along with NEW door sill plates and dual sport mirrors. The interior floors were overall solid a few sections were cut out and fixed with pieces cut and welded in and seam sealed from a new floor pan. Full floor pans were not needed, it then got covered in black Dyna-Mat before the new carpet. The trunk floor pan is original and still very solid. The gas tank is also NEW along with a NEW sending unit. This car runs and drives Nice it sounds tuff with the flowmasters It is a great deal for the money. If this was a REAL 70 GTO Judge 455 4 speed convertible it would be a $250,000 car, you can have the same look and fool most people for less than 10 percent of that price. And not worry about parking it anywhere like you would a real one LOL! you are still getting a 455 4 speed convertible that was cloned to look exactly like a 70 GTO Judge.
