1973 Pontiac Grand Prix Model J
If It Does Not Sell This Round, It Will Go Back To Storage. Last Chance To Get a Gorgeous Grand Prix
Please read the Terms and Conditions of this sale first. If you cannot accept the Terms and Conditions, then please do not waste your time or mine bidding on this vehicle. Please, bid with your wallet, not your heart. Please read the entire listing.
This is the first year of the third generation in the Grand Prix lineage. From what I can tell and from tracing the car's history, this Grand Prix is an original 44 year-old survivor in excellent condition.
The interior is in excellent condition. Shows very little wear. The carpet may have been recently replaced. The ash trays look as though they have never been used. It comes with color matching front and rear floor mats with the Pontiac logo embroidered in them. The exterior still shows the original paint and shines up well. Naturally, there are small paint chips on the vehicle, but they have been touched up using the original paint color (see pic for one). There is no rust to be found anywhere on the vehicle. The undercarriage has the typical surface rust. It drives and runs smooth and quiet. It does not burn oil and there are no fluid leaks. The exhaust was recently replaced. It still has the old R-12 air conditioning system and it works! This is a great riding luxury car from the 1970's that I do not want to give up, but due to other projects, I need to let it go.
This is a highly-optioned Model J.

The clock only works twice a day. If you desire to have the clock fixed, I would recommend sending it to D&M Restorations to have it rebuilt and/or converted to quartz. Their work is outstanding. The original radio, which was an AM 8-Track Stereo was removed and it now has an aftermarket radio with a MP3 player (The previous owner did this). Fortunately, there was no damage to the instrument panel when the radio was removed and replaced. I have the original radio listed on eBay. If you purchase the vehicle and would like the original radio, please let me know and I will pull the listing and ship it along with the vehicle.
The title is in my name, it is a clean and clear Colorado title.
