Description for Pontiac 2 door wagon 1955
This 1955 Pontiac Safari Wagon model 870 two door wagon is a very rare old car to begin with. You add 60 years of the coolest patina ever seen and you have a gem! This car is an awesome driver and summer cruiser that is perfect for cruising with the whole family if you like. It is powered by a nicely dressed 350 v-8/mild cam/ 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive, power steering, power disc brakes up front and cold A/C by Vintage Air. The exhaust has a killer throaty sound that harmonizes perfectly with the oldies playing through the stereo. The car has 4 corner air-ride controlled from the drivers seat using Air Ride Technologiesdigital air management system custom installed in the dash along with the vintage air. There is a custom tray installed that holds the compressors in the rear and the valves and sensors are under the rear seat for easy access. The rear end has a 4 link ride-tech system installed for better ride and stability. The car has a full usb/ bluetooth CD stereo system that sounds great with the head unit hidden in the dash and rear speakers. The new custom interior is finished in plush brown and cream with matching garnish moldings. The cream paint used in the interior matches the cream steel wheels and compliments the car perfectly. The glass is a mixture of old and new. New weatherstripping was added throughout the car. Dynamat was installed throughout for sound deadening. The wagon has a tilt column and a custom wood wheel. A new aftermarket wiring harness was used for safety and reliability. The battery is cleverly installed in the back inside the pleasure chest which allows for easy access. This car was an original Texas car so the rust is from dry heat just like you want for this kind of patina. This wagon is one of a kind and draws crowds
