VIN 824F38144 clear title in hand. WHAT IS THE HISTORY? Built in California and sold in California, in later years went to Michigan, then to my friend near Cincinnati and now to me in Tennessee. We do have the window sticker and build sheet supplied by the Pontiac Historical Society. HOW ABOUT RUST? I see no rust bubbles in the paint, the floors look original to me and good, the trunk pan looks like it may have had some patching. The bottom is not covered with thick under coating, a tin layer in some places. HOW IS THE PAINT? I consider it nice, to my old eyes the paint have a very good shin, the body is straight down the sides, I see no dents or dings, I see some specs and some tocuhed up chips. Its nice black paint, but no trailer queen to haul to the show and roll out. Car was born red and repainted black some time since, they lips and undersides are painted slick. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Good interior, head liner very good, carpet nice, seat covers like new, the front seat covers do have some wrinkles. The steering wheel is after market. HOW IS THE CHROME? Front bumper is great, back bumper has 2 small places where the chrome has pilled, emblems good, trunk panel has some pits, door handles good, vent window trim has some minor pitting. HEAD LIGHTS WORK! They are halegon and bright. Tail lights work! Turn signals work! Brake lights work! Inerior light not working! Added neon system under and in the grill. Speedometer works! Gas guage works! Oil, temp and amps are in a pod under dash. HOW IS THE ENGINE? It starts good and runs very strong. The 3 2 barrell setup works good, I hear no knoks or rattles and see no blue smoke. Past owner did not know if it was original or not, he thought it may be a 400, they look the same to me. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a good shifting 4 speed manual, I feel no slip or chatter. HOW ARE THE WHEELS AND TIRES? Like new Riddler wheels, fronts ar 17 inch and rear 18 inch, tire are good. HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? To me it drives very good for a 60s car. HOW DOES THE CAR STOP? Good, a front disc brake kit has been added, a booster has been added, durms in rear, the booster is very sensitive ( easy to push by the pedal). HOW IS THE GLASS?
