Hi everyone, up for sale is my 1978 Pontiac Trans Am. The car has been maintained very well over the years, and was inspected every year after storage. Always garaged, has never seen rain or snow. The car is all numbers matching, and is in very good condition. This car is equipped with the 6.6l 400 WC 220 hp motor and a 4 speed Manual transmission. The car is by no means a perfect car as the price reflects that. Car runs just like new. Offers accepted, I am negotiable. Price will go up in the spring time. Everything that has been done to the car is as follows(Pictures of paperwork of all work done will be displayed in the photos section of this ad)5/3/78 - Car was sold By Crest Pontiac-Caddilac Inc Newington, CT8/14/87 - Car was repainted to factory spec/factory color. The front and rear bumpers had normal spidering on them, and this was the proper way to fix them. Labor time 36 Hrs6/13/89 - I bought the car from a friend of mine on this day.07/17/00 - Radiator was replaced with larger one. Part #027721 Original Radiator is included.10/16/02 - Transmission needed to be rebuilt. Motor was also pulled at this time to refresh it11/19/02 - Sandstrom Auto Machine Bristol Connecticut did all of the motor refresh work.Ram Air 3 manifolds were installed on the car, but I still have original manifolds in great shape.Clutch was done at this time, original clutch is still good, and I still have it.12/31/02 - R & M Automotive Newington, CT - Front engine compartment and subframe were stripped and painted gloss black while motor and transmission were out of the car2/14/03 - R & M Automotive installed the following parts from PST in Montville,NJ - Super poly front end Kit6/5/13 - Brake booster was replaced2/17/17 - Original carburetor was professional cleaned and rebuilt
