1969 GTO frame off, matching numbers (engine, trans and rear end) restoration. First of allI am listing this for a friend (custom home builder) who does not do Ebay. If you purchase the GTO you will deal directly with him with a clear Michigan title in his name. The GTO was previously owned by the same family (brother in law, a high school principal to brother in law, a professional body man ) since new.Check out the body work in the picks (new half quarters, lower fender legs, floor pans and trunk pans).The body work was done years ago by the body man (became ill)and the car was stored uncompleted until current owner finished the project.The 400 was rebuilt by a renown local marine racing engine builder (Crockett Racing Engines). the Turbo 400 was rebuilt by a local transmission shop and the rear end was inspected, cleaned and reinstalled.What is new: brakes (front disc), suspension parts, exhaust with chrome tips, BFG Radial TA's, original wheels repainted, original quadrajet professionally rebuilt, hideaway headlights rebuilt, rear bumperre chromed, bucket seat covers with new foam, interior door and 1/4 panels, carpet, headliner, tach added,aftermarket radio with mp3 plug in, most of the chrome and emblems, rubber seals, vinyl topand more.The original color was 53 Warwick Blue (very boring) and was changed to 69 Paladium Silver.Upon completion the GTO was taken on the HOT ROD POWER TOUR and driven approx. 3000 miles with no problems. Also, the odometer was reset to 0 upon completion and now has approx. 4600 miles.Vehicle sold "as is". No deposit required and the GTO to be paid/ picked up with in 10 days of auction end.
