If you know 2nd Gen early to mid-70’s Trans Am’s, you know a few important key points… They are not all restored or maintained the same. I came across this 32k Mile car (Believed to be true miles) when I was not really looking for one but just had to get it. The car has had one repaint about 12 years ago, but it appears as if it were completed a year ago. Additionally, it has brand new tires and comes with original Owner’s Manual, Other New Car Original manuals, Original Window Sticker, Warranty Book, I also have some Registration and Tag Renewals owner history and maintenance receipts. There are also a few original parts with the car that were recently replaced.
These factory 4-Speed Trans Ams with documentation, low miles and in great condition are Very Rare finds, Very Hot, Very Collectable, Very COOL, and Nice one’s look and drive like a dream! Especially when you have a No-Hit body and these Colors.
One of my all-time favorites, I love the feel and sound of this car and would not be afraid to take it anywhere! The engine has the perfect blend of torque and really makes for a nice cruiser. Get in, hit the key and take off…it’s that simple. This is a car for shows (Most any level), cruise-ins, or investment grade for a museum or collection.
Things work as they should including but not limited to Headlights/Taillights, Signals, Interior Dash, Gauges, Heat, Speedometer, Wipers, Horn, Courtesy Lights, Heater, Radio, etc.
Is this C2 perfect? No and none of them are… I consider myself very particular and am usually much more critical of the cars in my collection than anyone else but try to be very forth-coming with details. In addition to my notes in the component descriptions above, the paint has a couple of small ripples on the hidden part of the front spoiler that were never cut and buffer during the repaint. The paint is nicer than Pontiac delivered by far though. The oil pressure gauge works intermittingly right now and that is about all I can think of…
Why am I selling it: For the most part, its space… I have a couple of other old vehicles in my friends shop that are close to coming home that I need to make room for.
I reserve the right to end this auction early due to having it for sale locally... I am pricing this car to sell and believe it will not last long so, do not hesitate to buy and please do so with absolute confidence! Please have finances in order prior to bidding as well. Purely as a hobby, I have been blessed to sell cars to buyers all over the country and internationally in my 25 years of collecting and take tremendous efforts in keeping a 100% feedback…that said, I have tried to be honest and accurate in all descriptions. I encourage however all to inspect this vehicle in person prior to bidding so that you can confirm my notes above. You can contact me with any questions at mdescamp@comcast.net or (865) 384-6017.
Note: I have a clear Tennessee Title In My Name for my Trans Am…I am not a business and this is a personal collection vehicle.
If you are the winning bidder, please expect to send a $2,500 deposit within 72 hours and have plans to pick the car up within 7 days. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, but I can assist with local direct carriers with both enclosed and open hauling available. If you have less than a positive 2 feedback, please contact me before bidding.
Thanks for taking the time to look at my car and GOOD LUCK!
