Description for Pontiac Firebird 1976

1976 Pontiac Firebird Restored and Excellent Rust-Free Long-Term California Car Vintage Air Conditioning VIDEO WITH LISTING VIN: 2T87P6N501929 We purchased this fantastic restomod Firebird from a gentleman in Indiana. Over the course of his ownership he went through the car in its entirety, as well as showed the car at a number of local car shows. Over the last 5-7 years, the car has seen the following: - Install 350ci crate motor (333hp). Now has a few thousand miles. - Chevrolet Performance cylinder heads - Edelbrock carb - New... 700R Automatic Transmission - New Bilstein B6 HD shocks and struts all around - New Moser axles - 3.73 gears - New 4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes - New PosiTraction differential - New American Racing 17” polished wheels and Kumho tires (DOT number from 2016) - Vintage Air Conditioning (R134a) - New Magnaflow mufflers Exterior: - Please see the video along with the listing, as the car is shown in detail. Blemishes are all shown close-up, though there are very, very few of them. - The car was painted just a couple of years ago, and the Firebird on the hood was hand-painted and clear coated. The paint is fantastic throughout. Absolutely no dust under the paint or visible run; paint was clearly done to a high standard. - Trim pieces and polished items are all like-new. No aging, discoloring, or oxidation of the light surrounds, grill pieces, fog lights, etc. - American Racing wheels are in excellent shape, with no damage or oxidation. 17 inch wheels look just right on this car. Kumho tires are from 2016 and show very little wear. - Glass and light lenses are all clear and crack-free. Interior: - The interior is almost all new. Black leather Scat sport seats suit the car perfectly. Comfortable, supportive, and they even look period-correct. Rear seats are like-new as well. - Dash is very nice, with no damage or cracking in the faux wood finish. There is one small badge that appears to be missing within the dash, however. Dash top is excellent, with no cracking, discoloring, or real signs of age. - Speedo and fuel gauges are functional, as is the odometer. Five-digit odometer indicates 95,870 miles on the chassis. Engine is a new 350 crate motor, installed just a couple thousand miles ago. - Interior lights are all functional. New Kenwood sound system sounds fantastic. R134a Vintage Air Conditioning is functional. Roll-up windows. Under the Hood / Underbody: - Please take a look through the underbody photos, as it’s documented in detail. Underbody is extremely impressive and is certainly a highlight of the car. No rust whatsoever, and no evidence of previous metal work. Bone dry. The previous owner tells us that he bought the car out of California a few years back, and to the best of his knowledge it had always been there. It sure looks like it. Looking over the underbody, it’s clear that this car has been enthusiast-owned for years. Many new parts, and the rubber bushings all appear to have been gone-through in recent years. - The car runs and drives extremely well. Truly no tendencies of any concern whatsoever. Feel comfortable flying in and driving home. The car fires right up, sounds fantastic, idles cool and steady, pulls hard through the gears, shifts smoothly, tracks straight, and brakes straight and effectively. As it sits now, this car is in need of nothing. With any further questions, requests, or to discuss purchasing, please reach out to Jake at 773-303-6122.
