Description for Pontiac GTO 1968
Up for grabs is a super clean 1968 Pontiac GTO, all original and includes PHS documents. Has a 400 CID engine, and a 4 speed M20 Muncie. New vinyl top, new headliner, center console, shift boot, pedal trim, sail panels, and rear window jute. All finished, ready to drive anywhere. This is a complete, numbers matching muscle car that really turns heads. Now, for the honest stuff. It has a few paint blemishes that have been touched up. The paint is starting to peel inside the door jams and trunk seal area. The engine runs well and has recently been equipped with a new Edelbrock 650 carburetor, but now it puffs a small amount of smoke on start up (most likely from the initial burst of fuel from the accelerator pump). It drives excellent on the highway, cruising at highway speeds without any issues. I would be comfortable driving this car anywhere without any issues. This is an older restoration, and is perfect for somebody looking for a driver muscle car.
The NADA on this car in the current condition is around the mid $50k price point. A great investment at this price. I will assist with shipping, at the purchasers expense. Stored indoors, located in Northern Wyoming. Email me for a telephone number, and I can arrange a meeting to FaceTime (video call) so you can see the cars condition. Also, the VIN listed above is NOT correct. The last 6 numbers are different. This is a TRUE GTO, not a clone.
