Description for Pontiac Fiero 1988
What more is there to say, it literally drives like a go-cart with that mid-engine'd Quad4 High Output GTZ (timing chain) motor, 5-speed manual in an agile Fiero '88! Light-weight because lighter motor, no radio, manual windows, no carpet in trunk.

At highrevvv it feels and sounds like a baby version of my Ferrari F355!
Note that this Fiero suspension has similarities to Lotus, what designers gathered from the racing program. Also note that the Fiero was the second safest vehicle sold in America from 1984 to 1988 and achieved NHTSA NCAP 5-star crash rating.
Handling is superb (coil-overs, etc.), the amount of driving fun you get for this price is pretty sweet.
No overheating, no leaks, runs ALL day everywhere. I'd drive this car across the country without hesitation.
NEW paint/tires/powered-coated wheels/painted calipers/clutch/flywheel/master cylinder and other stuff $4K+ spent this past year. All mechanical wiring was removed, re-taped & updated.
All lights work.
This swap (which is a good reliable one) would cost $10K+ to perform on a stock Fiero. Chassis milage 181K, drivetrain ~60K.
Issues:
-Not sure if it will pass emissions in CO as I never needed, but in AZ it passed.
-A/C doesn't work.
-Tachometer only goes to 60% of the current-corresponding RPMs.
-Radio not installed (I have the original on-hand).
-Headlights have a couple steps to operate. You must first open the hood, turn on the headlights (so they pop up), then close the hood and they'll stay up). They close/turn-off just fine.
-Both door locks do not work.
-Interior is not in good shape! (was next on my list of of TLC, some cracks in dash and seats ripped. Buyer's next project is tending to the interior ;) )
-Not a show car please keep this in mind.
Vehicle sold AS IS. Shipping is responsibility of Buyer (I recommend Montway Transport). You are covered by ebay buyer protection. Payment due within 7 days, Wire Transfer preferred, else I'd have to wait for check to clear before releasing vehicle. I've tried to describe vehicle to the best of my ability but if anything was mistaken or missed it is the Buyer's responsibility to ask questions before auction ends.
Thanks and God Bless!
