Up for sale is my project car, a 1969 Pontiac Custom S. I bought this car back in 2004 and intended to fix it up to be a good daily driver. Time and space to work on the car has always been an issue. The car has always been kept in my garage since i purchased it but my wife wants to buy and new car and park in the garage.
When it was running I added front disc brakes, aluminum rear drums, boxed the rear trailing arms, replaced most of the suspension bushings with polyurethane and changed the column shift to a Hurst Pro-Matic. The updated distributor is larger than stock making timing difficult, but I'm sure that could be worked out, the car has it's original 350 Pontiac engine and turbo 400 transmission. It has an open rear differential and highway gears. I would have changed to a Posi and lower gears to make it perform better and ideally would have done an LS swap and more modern transmission.
I replaced the damaged front fenders, hood and grill sections when i bought it. I fixed all of the indow mechanisms so they all roll up and down. I always got complimented on the body style even though its never had a good paint job since I have owned it. Someone in the past put a bad fitting sunroof in and I replaced the section with new sheet metal. To make it really look good, it should have a new aftermarket roof added. the car has always been in the DFW area and is rust free except for minor surface rust.
