Description for Pontiac Trans Am 1987
Up for sale is a 1987 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA with 36k original miles! Car runs great and looks awesome! It's time to relive those glory days you had back in the 80s, and this is the ride to do it in! It has the biggest motor they offered, the 5.7, and makes great torque for spanking those fox bodies like you did back in the day! THIS IS THE CAR FOR YOU! Time to leave the boring car at home and drive this sweet attention getter! I always get compliments and looks in this car everywhere I go. Probably why the wife wants me to sell... that and I guess having 4 other project cars is a bit much.
Paint is actually really nice, has a few chips in the front bumper and a small scuff on the lower front corner as well as a scratch in the rear bumper. Take a good look at all the pictures! It is still a VERY nice car!
Feel free to ask any questions you may have. I have taken a bunch of pictures as they are better at explaining the condition than I can do via words. Message me and I will send you my phone number.
I will include good condition black seatbelt buckles and the top rails that go on the door panels, as well as the stock intake parts. This car is over 30 years old, so it isn't going to be perfect! It will not take much work to make this car top notch. Will need some little attention such as the headliner is faded and should be recovered or dyed, AC, and other minor mechanical things. I will include the stock intake setup, functioning hatch motor, black seat belt guides, and headlight bushing. Again, please take a good look at all the pictures and feel free to ask me any questions you may have. I just did an oil change and replaced the cap/rotor with AC delco. I believe the one I removed was original from 1987, and it immediately ran better! I don't care what the other listings say, but any 30 year old car is going to need the attention this one needs.
I had plans to fix all the small issues that happen due to age, but that hasn't happened in the last 2 years I have owned the car and I just don't have the time unfortunately. If the car doesn't sell, I will fix all the small things and ask more for it. Again, the vehicle is 30 years old and not perfect. FOR SALE AS IS! You can be the new keeper of this gem! I have a clean New Mexico title in my name and ready to go!
This car is perfect for someone who has more time to tinker as all the stuff it needs isn't expensive! I feel I have priced the car at a bargain compared to the other low mileage Trans Am's currently listed for sale, just needs some time and effort to make it a top dollar car!
