Description for Pontiac Other 1957
1957 Pontiac Star chief Catalina
This car has had Zero restoration
I have a 1 owner 1957 Pontiac Star chief Catalina for sale
This was purchased on Sept 11 1957 in Idaho Falls by my grandfather, He used this car for work and always garaged when parked,
My father got the car when my grandfather passed in 1987 and it has been in a dark bully barn from that day with less then 100 miles a year being put on it.
This car has 68375 miles original Seats in the front are in great shape for the age and back seat still has factory plastic on with some yellowing and sun damage but not sure if it is the plastic or the seats underneath, I left plastic on to show true factory condition, Carpet is factory and zero stains or dirt on it, Spare is factory and all jacks are factory and included, Also comes with a Factory bug screen and 2 snow tires.
I was told it most likely has a 347 Pontiac motor but am not sure
Please contact me for more info or pictures
This caris notat all needing restored.
A new exhaust has been added and carb cleaned, as well as breaks worked on
Radio works intermittent and clock does not work. There is one small piece of chrome missing on the back as well as a dome light cover inside missing, This has a hitch on it and did tow a trailer back when Grandpa was working to build Interstate 15 back in the day. The chrome exhaust tips are rusting but you can buy them online easily
