Description for Pontiac Fiero 1987
This is an excellent example of a 1987 Fiero GT. Owned originally by a Pontiac Dealer for 31 years, this car was taken out of garage storage in summer of 2018 and given some TLC. It is mostly original and came nicely equipped as you would expect a dealership owner to do for himself. Since acquired the car has gotten a complete tune up, fuel system flush, new brakes, tires, dew wipes, seat covers, headlight motor nylon replacement, new exhaust headers, plugs and wires, distributor, new heater core, short throw shifter upgrade, new interior speakers, Memphis Audio bluetooth capability, complete interior detail, engine compartment cleaning, and finally a fresh PPG high quality repaint. The original paint was not terrible, but anyone who knows these cars understands that the factory paint wasn't great. The bumpers had a few bumps and bruises and the paint lost its luster. This car looks beautiful now. The vents and mirrors have been repainted satin black and it is stunning.
The e-brake lever has been disconnected because of its finicky nature, the factory subwoofer is blown and unplugged, the AC needs a charge and there are some fine scratches in the driver side plexiglass. Passenger side is perfect.
This car runs and drives great. It is blast to drive, especially with the short throw shifter. The low mileage make it a great collector example, yet totally driveable. Before I purchased this car as a rescue, it was a one-owner vehicle. Never driven in the winter and purchased as a family heirloom.
